The Corsair Carbide 275R looks like a pretty standard chassis, and it certainly checks every box. The glass variant clocks in at a good $80, while the acrylic one is $10-$15 cheaper. Its looks are understated and safe, which has this chassis cater to a broad audience. This is further underlined by the fact that Corsair only offers it in black or white, while other enclosures come in more aggressive color choices.
That said, this does not make the case a bad choice in any way. The Corsair Carbide 275R feels solid because of its proper use of steel in combination with the sturdy glass side panel. On top of that, the metal shroud really adds to the overall feel of the enclosure. Corsair has also done a great job of including openings in all the right spots, allowing for a very clean interior build. The grommets—something not every manufacturer opts for these days—really helps with that element as well. All the features within the Carbide 275R are well thought out to where you are able to install any type of hardware within the limits provided by the enclosure's size without issue.
So, one could say the Carbide 275R delivers everything you would expect from a case of this price point, while looking good and feeling sturdy, making it a no-brainer and great buy!
