Build Quality

Overall, the mouse feels very solid. The material used is nice to the touch, and there are no manufacturing issues, like rough edges or other obvious flaws.

Buttons & Scroll Wheel

The buttons use Omron D2FC-F-K(50M) switches, which are the most common main switches these days, and they produce solid feedback with a nice clicky feel. However, the main buttons have a bit of play to them; while not too much, it's there. Especially the right button seems to have a tiny bit of pre-travel.

Button latency is very good; here, you can see the comparison of the Glaive (A) to a Logitech G Pro (B). They are very close together, and as Logitech is kind of the gold standard, this is a perfect result.

The wheel is light and well defined because of the TTC wheel encoder.

In these pictures, you can see the main PCB with the main switches and the sensor and top PCB that sits on top of it. On the small top PCB, you also see the switches used for the side buttons and the wheel, as well as the encoder. I'm not a fan of the wheel button because it has a harder click to it than an Omron switch, though it isn't horribly stiff.

Cable

The cable is braided and rather stiff, but with this mouse, it didn't bother me too much. Mainly because of the heavier weight, the cable's influence is reduced. Still, if I were to use this mouse full time, I would change the cable to a custom one that is lighter and more flexible.

Mouse Feet

All fine here, the feet are well rounded at their edges, which ensures there's absolutely no dragging or snatching on the mouse pad. The glide seems to be fine as well, but again, with this being a heavier mouse, the impact of such things is reduced.

Shell

The shell has a nice feel to it, and I always managed to maintained a good grip on the mouse; there was no slipping at all. The top shell is like a soft-touch rubber, same as the smooth side grip, while the right side is textured, which help with holding on to it.
