Corsair Glaive RGB Review

Value & Conclusion »

The software allows for quite a bit of customization as well, with five adjustable CPI steps plus a "Sniper" step that can be set to a button. You can also chose which profile to store to the mouse should you want to use it with another system without the software.

In the performance tab, you can enable angle snapping, set the lift-off distance, and change the windows settings for enhanced pointer precision (speed and acceleration).

The lighting effects can be set to a number of settings for all three lighting zones individually, so if you like a colorful mouse, you can get to work here.

The Glaive also allows for surface calibration to adjust the mouse to your mouse pad. I didn't find any benefits to using the setting, but it might help if you use a heavily patterned surface. It did not change anything about the tracking speed issue mentioned above; I tested for that.
