Corsair Hydro Series H110 Review

The Corsair H110 is an extremely large cooler, but unlike more typical tower-type heatsinks, it does not interfere with anything on the motherboard. It allows easy access to the memory slots for future expansion. The only issue some users might encounter is that of plugging the EPS 12V for CPU power in once the installation process is complete. It may prove problematic on some systems. Regardless, the open space should allow users to more actively cool their memory modules, VRM, and MOSFETs—directly if they so choose, but that, again, comes down to case selection.

Overall, the Corsair Hydro Series H110 is a good looking cooler that should match most builds. However, unlike the previously reviewed H90, the extra fan and wires are a bit of a hassle to hide because there is no fan controller like on the pump of the H100. This results in the H110 lacking a sleek, clean look. While this is certainly not a deal breaker, including a Y-cable would have been a step towards minimizing the mess.
