Since the heatsink is one of the heaviest I have had in my hands recently, it also occupies a bit more space than some other DIMMs, sitting nearly 40mm tall. They are also fairly wide, measuring in at just under 8mm.
The Crucial Ballistix Elite sticks look great installed into my reference ASUS X99 DELUXE motherboard. However, due to that girth the leftmost Ballistix Elite module rests against the X99 DELUXE's VRM radiator cover. Even so, they look great, with matching lines that compliment each other.
