Packaging

darkFlash's Twister DX-360 comes in attention-grabbing packaging. The front displays a full-color image of the cooler and also highlights compatibility with the majority of motherboard vendor's ARGB software. Users are also informed that the top infinity mirror pump cap can rotate 360 degrees. On the left side, there's another image of the cooler and a list of design features, including an enlarged copper cold plate for improved contact area. The back of the packaging revisits the cooler's features and lists supported CPU sockets.

Unit specifications on the right side outline the features of the Twister DX-360, including a 2700 RPM pump, 800-1800 RPM fans, a 450 mm tubing length, and a list of supported sockets. Examining the top and bottom of the box, the top showcases another vivid image of the Twister DX-360, while the bottom simply displays the darkFlash logo.

Contents

The internal packaging is par the course in that the Twister DX-360 V2.6 comes in a cardboard tray that provides the bulk of support and protection along with a foam sheet that sits on top. While I would prefer to see a bit more foam or protection in general its passable.

The cooler does support most mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel, including AM4 and AM5 of the former and LGA115x, LGA1200, and LGA1700 of the latter. It also directly lists support for older AMD sockets and LGA 20XX as well. Beyond that you get all the parts needed to install the cooler, as expected.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:
  • 12x Fan screws
  • 12x Radiator screws
  • 4x Intel LGA1700 standoffs
  • 4x Intel LGA1200 / LGA115X standoffs
  • 4x Intel LGA20XX standoffs
  • 4x Thumb nuts
  • 4x Mounting bracket pump screws
  • 4x Spacers
