Exterior Look

The ECS LIVA X² is a small white box with simple appliance-like features on its front and back. There are three USB ports at the front, a single LED, and a couple holes. I had to pull the unit apart to realize what those holes were for; they were important. The back of the ECS LIVA X² has HDMI and D-SUB for video output, a LAN port, and a hole for the power plug, with an audio port that can be used for both headphones and a mic provided you have the right cable or headphone plug (similar to a smartphone's audio plugs).


On one side of the box is a Kensington port for those office, retail, or POS (point-of-sale) installations.
