The unit measures in at 115 x 115 x 50.6 mm, meaning it is a truly compact system. In terms of visual elements the LIVA logo can be seen on the top left with a ridged solid top. Meanwhile, the bottom metal plate has a large vented opening for airflow along with two screw holes for the VESA mount.

Switching to the front you will find 1x USB 2.0 port and 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Type-A ports, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port along with the power button. To improve airflow and cooling efficiency another vented opening can be found on the left side.

On the back of the unit you will find 2x USB4 ports, 2x HDMI ports, 2x USB 2.0 ports, and 2x RJ45 ports. It should be noted as marked that one RJ45 is 2.5 GbE and the other is 1 GbE. There is also another vented opening here acting as an exhaust port. Finally, the right side also has a vented opening for airflow along with a Kensington lock should you need it.

To power the LIVA Z5 Plus, ECS has opted to use a 120-watt power brick from LITE-ON.
