Packaging
Aside from the mouse, one finds a charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C), wireless extender, wireless dongle, and quick start guide inside the box.
Weight
My scale shows around 61 g (+/- 1 g), which is slightly less than the weight cited by Endgame Gear. Despite being wireless, the XM2we manages to weigh 10 g less than the wired XM1r. On the other hand, the similarly sized Razer Viper V2 Pro weighs 3 g less at 58 g, and the Pulsar X2 and LAMZU Atlantis even less at 56 and 55 g, respectively, albeit without much of a bottom plate and a smaller battery. An excellent weight.
Cable
The XM2we comes with a paracord-like, braided charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C). There is no anchor at the mouse-end of the cable, so the cable may come loose during use, although this is unlikely, given how tight it fits. The connector is angled upwards, which is a design that was originally already announced for the XM2w, and has previously been seen on Zowie and VAXEE wired mice, and more recently on the LAMZU Atlantis and Atlantis Mini charging cables. In terms of flexibility, the cable is in the upper tier, and on par with the ASUS ROG or Glorious charging cables. Accordingly, the XM2we can be used while charging without feeling overly restrictive. The measured cable length is 1.80 m.
The charging cable also functions as an extension cable, if used in conjunction with the wireless extender, which can be used to keep the distance between dongle and mouse as short as possible.
Feet
The feet on the XM2we are white-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet. They are of above average thickness and have slightly rounded edges. Glide is excellent. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure.
