Installation
To install the ETS-N30, users will want to first properly place the backplate onto the motherboard. Put the red spacers onto the screw posts to protect the motherboard from gouging next. Screw these in tight and apply some thermal compound. I suggest spreading the compound onto the cooler's base manually to fill the gaps between the heatpipes and the aluminum base as best as is possible.
Next, users will need to attach the mounting brackets to the cooler in preparation for installation. Using the bracket for your intended socket, use the four small screws to secure it in place.
Now with the heatsink prepared, line the holes on the mounting bracket up with the screw posts and secure the cooler in place with the thumbscrews Enermax includes.
Attach the fan to the cooler before plugging it into the motherboard's CPU fan header and you are done.
Because in part due to its simple design, the install was relatively quick and painless. I have no meaningful issues to report and would rate the installation procedure a 10 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest).
