Finished Looks
The Enermax ETS-N30, while plain in appearance, still looks good when installed. The cooler looks clean because it lacks unnecessary add-ons and avoids using plastic excessively, which should have it go well with any system.
The sleeved fan cables are a nice touch as they contribute to the overall plain but clean design. Only the hub with Enermax's logo and name in white breaks things up a bit, adding a tiny bit of contrast to the fan.
Clearance around the socket is exceptionally good because of the cooler's compact design, so users should easily be able to get the ETS-N30 into place in even small, cramped cases.
While overall clearance around the socket is great, the ETS-N30's major issue is that it blocks one DIMM slot. Granted, standard-height memory will fit into all four slots, but those with taller heat spreaders will be limited to using two sticks in a dual-channel configuration. This is not a major issue as the system this cooler is marketed for is very unlikely to use Corsair Dominator Platinums, or an other such memory kit. Still, for a compact cooler that is marketed for utmost compatibility, a slightly offset tower would have allowed for maximum memory compatibility as well.
