Packaging

The box is black with a huge splash of color to grab your attention and let you know that the cooler is ARGB equipped. Looking at the top, you will find the cooler itself illuminated in its default rainbow mode, along with a number of badges denoting that it supports motherboard lighting control options from pretty much every brand. Meanwhile, the bottom of the box has the general specifications and features listed, such as its "Aurabelt" water block and dual-chamber design. Turning to one of the sides, you will find a similar panel as on the top along with a list of supported sockets.

When it comes to the smaller ends of the box they list the cooler's dimensions and product name along with UPC and EAN depending on which end you are looking at. Finally, the last side just has a small paragraph detailing the cooler itself in various languages.

Like pretty much every other all-in-one liquid cooler these days, the Enermax LIQMAX III ARGB 360 comes in a simple box with a cardboard tray for protection. A thin sheet of foam on top keeps things fairly secure, but I wouldn't expect it to protect much of anything. That having been said, while I am not a fan of it over proper foam, the fact remains that the packaging has proven more than adequate time and time again.

The cooler supports all the sockets you would expect, other than the ancient LGA 775 and TR4, which makes sense as TR4 processors feature a much larger IHS and LGA775 is long since dead. As for the mounting hardware, it looks to be relatively straightforward, which is always a plus.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:

  • 12x Radiator screws
  • 4x Backplate bolts
  • 4x Backplate spacers
  • 4x Intel LGA2011 / LGA2066 screw pillars
  • 4x Black spacers
  • 4x Spring screws
  • 3x 120 mm ARGB LED fans
  • 2x AMD mounting brackets
  • 1x Tube of thermal paste
  • 1x Backplate
  • 1x Pre-filled liquid cooler
  • 1x User manual
