Installation

Installing the Fractal Design Celsius+ S28 Prisma is very easy and straightforward on Intel's mainstream sockets. First, position the backplate on the motherboard and use the included standoffs to secure it. At this point, you can use your own thermal paste or skip to the next step if opting for the pre-applied paste.

With paste applied, simply slide the CPU block over the standoffs and secure it with the included thumbscrews. Make sure to alternate and work your way around for an even TIM spread. Next, I mounted the radiator to the chassis. Depending on your case, you may want to do this before mounting the CPU block. Once mounted, all that is left is to install the fans.

With everything installed, make sure the fans are plugged into the PCB on the radiator and hook up the ARGB wires as well. With that done, the cooler is ready to go.

Overall, I would rate my installation of the Fractal Design Celsius+ S28 a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). The mounting process is easy, and the included ARGB and PWM hub on the radiator helped keep the wiring mess to a minimum.
