Initial Setup
I was prepared to have to do a bunch of retesting with these DIMMs in another board given their limited board support. Most motherboards only support DIMMs of up to 3600 MHz, but checking G.Skill's QVL showed that my trusty ASUS Z170 DELUXE was ready and willing, so to testing I went. Even though the red seems a bit out of place here, I took the time to test whether it mattered which two DIMM slots I used, and fortunately, I found no problems with using either the slots closest to the CPU or the slots furthest away.
Since I had pulled one of the red plastic bits off to take pictures, it wasn't until I was editing these shots that I noticed I had put it on backwards! Ah well, it looks good either way.
