The Gigabyte Z690I AORUS Ultra Plus DDR4 features a direct 10+1 phase VRM configuration, without doublers or teaming of the power stages.


Gigabyte is using a Renesas RAA229130 PWM controller to drive the Z690I AORUS Ultra Plus DDR4 VRM power stages.


The Gigabyte Z690I AORUS Ultra Plus DDR4 uses Renesas RAA22010540 power stages for the ten Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 105 A of continuous current. For the VCCGT (iGPU) phase, Gigabyte is using a single Renesas ISL99860 90 A power stage.

The Gigabyte Z690I AORUS Ultra Plus DDR4 has a maximum output of 1,050 A, with 960 A dedicated to Vcore.
