The A380 makes a very sturdy impression at first sight. It features a clean aluminum front and perforated sides. Glacialtech has refrained from adding fancy design aspects to the chassis. The A380 is clean and sleek, which should make it a perfect addition in your living room.

The front of the chassis is made of a very tough and solid piece of aluminum, which does not only look good but feels great as well. To keep costs down, Glacialtech has decided to use steel for all the other parts of the A380. The rear of the chassis is not painted, but has been sprayed with black paint. While this is perfectly fine, the paint does come off rather easily.

There are two expansion slots in the rear. To access these you would require a riser card, which is not included with the A380. Such cards cost between $5 and $50 depending on where you shop. And such solutions are not guaranteed to fit this case specifically. It would have been nice if one or more riser cards were included with the case.

Both sides of the chassis have air vents and look quite similar. Each of these sides have a small fan, but more to those later.

Taking a closer look at the front, starting from the left, there is a Glacialtech logo embedded in the left top corner. Moving to the center, an integrated card reader, which seems to take all the major formats is embedded into the front. Next to this, you will find two USB 2.0 ports and the usual front audio connectivity. All the way to the right are the silver power button, as well as a small silver Glacialtech logo, which hides the red hard drive activity LED. This one only shines through the mirror finish upon hard drive activity.

Turning the case over, the sturdy feet become visible, which are secured by screws.
