Hiper's Type M 780W power supply is a great design that offers rock solid performance. With an efficiency of 83.5% in our testing it can easily be described as a "green power supply". Environment friendly is all nice and good, but the plain cardboard package looks so boring I'm afraid many people in stores will have their eyes locked onto the flashier box designs and not end up with one of the PSUs.
The power output of the Hiper Type M 780W is good to exceptional. The 5V and 3.3V lines show good stability and the 12V line takes the number one spot in our test group. With its price of $125 it is a bit cheaper than similar products from the big names, but still offers excellent performance for its price that can easily compete with the more expensive products.
