Shape

Geometrically, the shape of the Pulsefire Haste 2 hasn't received any significant changes. The dimensions essentially are a match, and the only visual differences are the lack of holes and the bridge between the main buttons no longer extending towards the front. Like many other ambidextrous designs, the Pulsefire Haste 2 has a centered, rather flat hump that gradually slopes down towards both ends and extends across the entire width, along with a wider butt and somewhat low-sitting front. What sets the Pulsefire Haste 2 apart is its width. Even though it isn't particularly wide overall, it doesn't get any slimmer in the middle. On most ambidextrous designs, the sides curve inward, creating a natural shift in width between the middle and front/back, both of which typically end up wider than the middle. This is not the case on the Pulsefire Haste 2, where the width stays constant across the front and middle. Accordingly, this shape is a great fit for people with bigger hands who want to use a mouse that isn't big otherwise. A lot of mice are scaled proportionally as a whole, so a mouse that may feel just right in terms of width in the middle may end up being bigger than desired elsewhere. Coupled with a neutral silhouette that lacks any aggressive curves, the shape of the Pulsefire Haste 2 should suit a lot of people.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Pulsefire Haste 2 is generally suited for all three main grip styles, which are palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Pulsefire Haste 2 very comfortable in claw grip.
