  • The In Win A1 can be found for as low as US$169, while the A1 Plus sells for US$199.
  • Excellent mix of materials
  • Available in black or white
  • Included 600 or 650 W power supply perfectly capable of powering everything you can throw in the A1
  • Nice and short cables to keep the mess to a minimum
  • CPU coolers of up to 160 mm will fit
  • GPUs of up to 320 mm may be installed
  • GPU support bracket included
  • Case can hold up to four 120 mm fans
  • 120 mm liquid-cooling setup easily possible
  • Qi Charger a really cool touch
  • Dust filters on all intake areas
  • Super clean interior even when filled
  • Fairly straightforward assembly for a case of this size
  • Push pins on side panels disturb the look a little
  • No 3.5" drive bay
  • Not everyone needs a Qi charger, but some may just want the case—a basic variant would be amazing
I would love to say something bad about the In Win A1, but in all honesty, I tried and found nothing. If you are looking for a compact Mini-ITX chassis, this is one of the best choices out there. So, let's go down this rabbit hole and start with the price: at US$170 US, this essentially means you are paying around 100-120 dollars for the case and 50-70 dollars for the power supply. Considering the material mix, LED elements, and built-in Qi charging, that is actually more than reasonable. The A1 Plus is even of better value by offering a 650 W 80 Plus Gold unit and two RGB-equipped fans.

In terms of features, you are still able to pick between liquid and air cooling and may install a fairly long and thus potent GPU. On top of that, you can still cool it all extremely well with the ability to hold four fans. The assembly method is on the simpler side for a case of this size and layout, so you can easily upgrade over time and keep things nice and tidy; add the fact that the chassis clearly caters to the gamers in us with the LED elements, and that Qi charging could be of use to charge a wireless gaming mouse.

So, overall, I could not find a lot wrong with the case. From its adequate pricing and material mix to the quality and assembly experience, or compatibility, there is nothing negative unless you get really picky. If so, the argument stands that a select few may need at least a single 3.5" bay for a traditional mass-storage drive.

In conclusion, all this makes the A1, and thus A1 Plus, a no-brainer for those who want an excellent compact chassis.
