LAMZU Maya X Review

Shape

By and large, and as one would expect, the Maya X is a sized-up Maya. However, some minor differences can be spotted, such as a more pointed tip at the front or a relatively wider base. Much like on the Atlantis, front and back flare out to a similar degree, and the side curvature is comparable. On the Maya X, however, the hump is centered instead of positioned towards the rear, and the hump also ends up being more tapered, whereas the Atlantis has its hump extend across the top at its full width. In addition, the hump slopes down towards both ends differently, as on the Maya X, the main buttons sit higher south of the scroll wheel. Also, while the front on the Atlantis has straight sides, the top end is wider on the Maya X, and gets narrower towards the base. Overall, the Maya X feels far larger than the Maya in-hand, and closely matches the Atlantis in this regard.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Maya X is suited for both palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized to large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for medium to large hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Maya X very comfortable in claw grip.
