As it seems, LEPA is beginning to trust other OEMs besides Enermax for their high-end products. It is a wise choice to rely on more than one manufacturer in today's competitive market. Channel Well's PUQ platform, which the G850-MAS uses, is a good choice and is already used by many respective companies (e.g. Corsair and Thermaltake) because it offers nice overall performance even if it doesn't use cutting edge technology. In this case, the G850-MAS registered fairly good voltage regulation overall, Gold efficiency, and decent ripple suppression. I would, since I am very picky when it comes to ripple, like to see a little lower ripple at +12V. Another thing that may annoy some users is that the fan can become quite noisy once you manage to get it working at full speed. You would, however, have to highly stress the PSU at high ambient in order to accomplish this.
To sum up, the LEPA G850-MAS is a good PSU at a good price, for the standards of its category. It doesn't use any exotic technologies in order to keep its price as low as possible, yet manages to achieve pretty good performance numbers and is, on top of that, equipped with modular cables. You should take a look at the G850-MAS if you want a good, reliable, and modular PSU near this capacity.
