Lian Li's HydroShift LCD 360S stands out for its overall cooling performance. On the AMD AM5 test bench, performance improved as power draw increased, with Lian Li's latest cooler slowly climbing the charts and eventually placing in the top four in the 225-watt TDP test. When limiting fan and pump speed to maintain a noise output of 45 dBA at 15 cm (6 inches), it pushed its way into the top three. On the Intel side, it consistently placed in the top two to three, depending on the test, and was within the margin of error for claiming the top spot. All things considered, regardless of the platform used, the Lian Li HydroShift LCD 360S is a dominant AIO liquid cooler, capable of handling anything the average user can throw at it.

Regarding noise levels, the unit is somewhat loud at max RPM, peaking at 55 dBA. At lower RPM levels, the pump is audible and results in slightly higher noise readings compared to some competitors at extremely low RPM, but the difference is minimal. Overall, Lian Li has done a good job with the noise profile. The fans have no odd tones or grinding, and while the pump is audible, it has a deeper tone that isn't intrusive or annoying. When installed in a proper chassis, it will typically be inaudible compared to the fans when they are above 50% PWM. Therefore, while the noise readings are not the best, they are better than expected, and there are no significant issues. Lian Li has ensured that the cooler and its PWM settings can be tailored to any user's needs, with fans capable of hitting a very low RPM of 200.

While the MSRP of $179.99 is a bit high compared to more value-focused offerings, the Lian Li HydroShift LCD 360S can be considered attractively priced if you are interested in its features. It is the most affordable unit I have tested that comes with a fully customizable pump-mounted IPS display, in addition to all its other unique features. Speaking of the display, the presets are somewhat lacking and feel tacky, but the whole point is customization, allowing you to add your own videos or files as you see fit. While I am not a fan of the required software for these types of AIOs, L-Connect 3 provides useful information, and is fairly easy to navigate. Compared to other vendor-specific applications, Lian Li comes out slightly ahead in this regard.

The design and build quality are areas where Lian Li stands out. The HydroShift LCD 360S is fully equipped with useful features. The tubing is flexible and, with the various brackets and covers, can be hidden in a way that enhances the cooler's visual appeal. However, this means the AIO takes up more space, similar in width to a 280 mm AIO, which may cause potential conflicts depending on your case choice. That said, the tubing and covers can be swapped to work on either side, which may help mitigate some of these issues. Additionally, the mounting hardware cover keeps things looking neat and clean, and the aluminium side plate adds a nice touch of flair to the usually boring and boxy radiator. The fans are daisy-chained, and with no ARGB lighting, the wiring mess is minimal. With the IPS display, optional fan ARGB kits and good build quality, there is little to complain about. Overall, the unit is well-built and configured, and the six-year warranty provides peace of mind.

Overall the Lian Li HydroShift LCD 360S is a visually appealing all-in-one liquid CPU cooler that delivers exceptional performance, nice features, and while a bit pricey compared to pure value-oriented designs, is attractively priced for a customizable display equipped model. Add in a fantastic warranty and I have no issues recommending it if you're in the market for a display equipped AIO.
