The Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO XL represents the most recent and largest variant in the O11 family of enclosures. Priced at $229 it may not offer any fans out of the box, but even so feels well priced considering the intricate engineering and choice of features as well as included accessories. In other words, anyone wanting a large enclosure for an intricate custom liquid cooling setup will likely not find the O11 Dynamic EVO XL to be expensive at all.

The chassis truly manages to impress both inside and out. It is clearly aimed at hardcore custom liquid cooling fans or those who really enjoy having 140 mm fans everywhere inside the chassis. But even when skipping liquid cooling elements, the O11 Dynamic EVO XL may feel too large. That said, its size also allows for crazy things like an upright GPU setup with the optional kit or the use of distro plates specifically designed for this model of the O11. The material mix feels solid and balanced for the price, with the clean ARGB strip down the front adding a bit of visual bling without being overwhelming.

On the interior, the sheer intricacy of the tooling and resulting number of individual parts that come together to form the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO XL is impressive. Compared to its predecessor, it is a night & day difference. Every area of the case feels well-designed and thought out. From the hinges on the storage elements, to the flexible cable management, perfectly sized grommets - it all makes sense. Then, when considering things like the ability to move the motherboard tray up or down, flip the whole setup, or fill the case with 420 mm radiators without a single compromise, it becomes clear how much attention Lian Li has put into all of this. With all that considered, the intricate GPU support bracket just feels like a flex by Lian Li at this point.

If you are in the market for a large case to fit your massive liquid cooling setup, then the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO XL is basically a no-brainer and deserves the Editor's Choice.
