Packaging
Aside from the mouse, one finds an additional set of PTFE mouse feet, two interchangeable back covers, two scroll wheels, three side panels, a carrying case, several stickers, and a quick start guide inside the rather luxurious box.
Weight
My scale shows around 112 g (+/- 1 g), which is quite a bit more than the 105 g cited by Mad Catz. Compared to other mice in its size class, the R.A.T. Pro X3 Supreme is no doubt fairly heavy. Depending on which configuration is chosen, the weight can vary to some degree, albeit not significantly.
Cable
The R.A.T. Pro X3 Supreme features a regular braided cable. Though not ultra-stiff, it's far from flexible and definitely irritating unless used in a mouse bungee. The off-centered placement can be off-putting, too. Its measured length is 1.80 m. The cable has a gold-plated USB connector.
Feet
The R.A.T. Pro X3 Supreme allows for one of two different feet configurations: By default, a set of ceramic feet is installed (pictured above). Theoretically, ceramic feet provide a low-friction glide and superior durability compared to regular PTFE-based feet. The ceramic feet found on the R.A.T. Pro X3 Supreme, however, have extremely high friction to where it is irritating. The alternative PTFE-feet configuration provides much better glide.
