The Package

The Maono PD400X comes in a fairly large and surprisingly heavy box, with a nice-looking, richly printed exterior. The box itself is made of thick cardboard and has plenty of foam on the inside, with separate compartments for the microphone, stand and cables. Looking around the box, you'll learn about the microphone's key features, which Maono chooses to put in front of actual technical specifications.


The box is split into three compartments, containing the microphone, two cables (USB-C to USB Type-A and XLR), a user manual, a table stand, and a large pop filter. Everything you might need to get you going is there.
