The Montech Air 903 Max is, as the name implies clearly meant to provide a focus on maximum airflow. With its four fans, three of which are ARGB, and general feature set one may think it would cost well over $100. However once again Montech manages to offer the case for less than $80 which makes it quite the bargain to start with.

Taking a closer look at the exterior features, Montech manages to drive a clean, universal design language that provides function over form with clean lines and some nice details. The all white removable dust filters and fans, with the white fan wiring in combination with silver screws also shows that the designers of the case were mindful to keep as much of the case color in sync. That said, there is a small misstep in form of the blue USB-A ports instead of more subtle black or ideally white ones.

On the interior, the Air 903 delivers on all fronts in terms of storage capabilities, lots of room for large and powerful components alongside solid cable management. The only aspect that could be improved would the inclusion of grommets on all openings to really make for the cleanest final build possible - especially if you opt not to have an AIO in the ceiling to hide the cutouts above the motherboard. In other words, those using air coolers will have a hard time keeping wires away from view in that part of the Air 903 Max.

But again, keep in mind you get all this case for a very competitive price, including a solid PWM hub and ARGB controller and dedicated LED toggle button while retaining the reset function as well. While the ARGB may not allow for as much flexibility as others, that is easily solved by utilizing the motherboard header instead - a feature the vast majority of boards across the entire price spectrum tend to provide anyways.

As such, the Montech Air 903 Max does not only deserve the Editor's Choice but is also quite the steal for the features offered.
