Packaging for the Montech MKey PRO is hard to photograph thanks to the use of glossy and iridescent lettering, although we can easily see the product name and descriptor in addition to a render of the specific keyboard inside—this is for the MKey PRO "Darkness" version, for those wondering. The brand logo is present on the sides as well as the back where we also see product specs and salient features listed. A sticker on the side also confirms the exact SKU inside, including the switches used. Opening the box, we see the keyboard inside a wax paper wrap and with thick foam all around for added protection. There is a quick start guide placed on top which goes over the various pre-programmed functions on the keyboard.


The other accessories are found in separate compartments cut into the foam and include the expected USB Type-A to Type-C cable. We also get a handy combination metal wire-style keycap puller and switch remover tool which wraps up the unboxing experience. No replacement/novelty keycaps this time as with the MKey TKL.
