The MSI MEG Z490I Unify features a 9-phase VRM in a 8 +1 configuration.
The Unify uses an Intersil ISL69269 PWM controller, which can drive a total of 12 distinct phases.
The MSI MEG Z490I Unify uses top of the line Intersil ISL99390 power stages for all primary phases. These power stages support a maximum of 90 A of continuous current and feature both overcurrent and overtemperature protection. When paired with the robust VRM cooling solution, the Unify should be an excellent overclocker.
The MSI MEG Z490I Unify has a maximum output of 810 A, with 720 A dedicated to Vcore.
