Devil May Cry 5 is the latest title of the gaming renaissance of the Japanese video-game industry that's finally showing some love for the PC platform. Directed by Hideaki Itsuno for Capcom, the latest entry to the hack-and-slash combat franchise, it follows an adventure quest with three playable protagonists, Dante, Nero, and V, as they battle to take down Demon King Urizen before he can destroy the human world.

DMC5 is based on Capcom's RE Engine, which also powers all the Resident Evil titles, making it a very important engine to include in benchmarks. Characters look highly realistic thanks to subsurface scattering, other graphics effects include dynamic lighting, ambient occlusion and volumetric lights.
