Board Software

Included with the motherboard is a USB flash drive that contains drivers and software for the motherboard. Unfortunately, the installation software does have Norton Anti-Virus auto-checked to be installed with everything else. As pointed out previously, no physical or digital manual is included this time either.


Long-time MSI users will remember the MSI Dragon Center app. It has been replaced with a cleaner GUI called MSI Center. It is a one-stop hub for all related MSI software. Because of its modular design, you can install only the software you want. While it does the job well, I would like to see better descriptions of each module to avoid installing unwanted bloatware.


Onboard lighting can be controlled by MSI Mystic Light software which can be downloaded within the MSI Center.
