The BIOS that MSI has provided the MSI Z87-G45 GAMING with is similar to that of most other recent MSI products, but many features here help you get the most out of whatever part you decide to install into the MSI Z87-G45 GAMING. From memory and its timings to voltages and clock options, and all the way down to the ability to save profiles and adjust onboard component settings, everything any user is going to need is here. I have taken a picture of nearly everything and there is, as you can see, a lot.
There are two specific functions that I want to highlight here, and the first is on the fan-control page. The hardware-monitor page has a fancy, visual fan-control panel with a huge assortment of fan-control options that are all independently adjustable for each fan header. Also, a "System Browser" shows what parts of the motherboard are in use, and what's installed into the ports and slots of the motherboard. Should a part not be recognized by the board, it is easily and quickly identified through this interface. I feel that this specific page could use some expanding upon, but given the huge amount of functionality that is already here, as evidenced by the number of screenshots I've posted, it is understandable that it only offers basic part-identification at this time.
