As always, the first test is how the memory performs at a frequency of 200 MHz, with standard voltage of 1.8V. The second test is at 200 MHz FSB, but with 400 MHz memory frequency or DDR2-800. Here you can easily see how much difference changing the memory divider makes. Even though Mushkin specifies this memory as 1.9V-2.1V it had no problems running at advertised speeds with merely 1.8V
In the third test we tested what the overclocking limit is on the memory at the default DDR2 voltage of 1.8V. Even at the aggressive stock timings a 10% overclock was possible.
As fourth test we increased the voltage to 2.1V which is still within the specification of Mushkin. Here the overclock scales nicely another 10% for a total overclock of around 20%.
What if you don't need extremely high MHz, but want good timings? We tested how far the timings could be tightened. The Mushkin XP2-6400 perform awesome here too. Running 3-2-2-4, which are the best setting available on the chipset, was completely stable. Even overclocking to DDR2-480 was possible.
Further on we wanted to check out what this memory can do at 5-5-5-15 which is close to the timings many other manufacturers use on their DDR-800 modules. At first I thought something was wrong with my testing but a final result of DDR2-1104 speaks for itself. Amazing!
For further comparison, the test "JEDEC DDR2-400" shows a generic DDR-2 module running at JEDEC standard timings.
