Initial Setup
After installing these in the ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 APEX, it is easy to see why I called them "bedazzling" as a description earlier. Netac is not the first brand to sell memory with mirror finish heatsinks, but they might be the first for DDR5. These are like if G.Skill Trident Z Royals and XPG SPECTRIX ROG had a baby, and it was called Netac Z RGB. There is little to complain about overall. The RGB lighting diffusion is perfect too. The only thing worth mentioning is that these are a little dimmer in light output compared to other bands. This is mostly due to having a elongated section internally for better light diffusion. Appearance is subjective in nature, thus it is up to the buyer to determine if this is acceptable.
Enabling XMP Profile
This Netac Z RGB DDR5-6200 memory kit reviewed today had no stability issues during the main testing phase. Though, it should noted that this kit is reaching into the limits of what the AMD Ryzen 7000 processors internal memory controller (IMC) can handle (6200-6400 MT/s). Therefore, this memory kit is recommended to be paired only with a Intel 12th or 13th Gen CPU for maximum compatibility between different motherboards. For AMD users, it is ideal to follow the guidelines set by the motherboard manufacturer QVL lists for best chances of success. Updating the motherboard BIOS to the newest version will help with higher-speed memory kit support for those who are experiencing issues for AMD motherboards paired with Ryzen 7000 series processors.
