The Basic subscription plan is free with an Arlo kit. It provides a subscription where recordings in the cloud are saved for seven days, with support for up to five cameras and up to 1GB of cloud storage. The cloud security protocol is similar to that of websites where you enter your credit card information (HTTPs). A free thirty day premium subscription is also features as a means to peak our curiosity. Its features include a scheduler, a backup of up to 30 days for recordings, and a 10 GB storage limit. Arlo's Premier plan also supports up to 10 cameras; there is the Elite option should 10 not be enough—it provides for a backup of up to sixty days, comes with a scheduler and supports up to fifteen cameras and 100 GB of cloud storage. If you own a Netgear NAS, though, you might as well stick with their Basic plan since you should be able to use your NAS soon. You will find all above plans and their prices below.
