Packaging

The Nixues REVEL Fit comes in a standard-sized box with a cut-out at the front, where you can peek through at and poke your new mouse behind a transparent plastic cover. The box features the standard technical specifications and information in a simple black and white style. The contents are the mouse itself, a quick start guide, warranty information card, and, fortunately, an extra set of mouse feet. Again, a smaller company can do what most of the "big guys" still cannot—providing replacement skates should be mandatory in my opinion.

Shape

As I've mentioned in the intro, the REVEL Fit may seem familiar. The shape is obviously based on the Logitech MX500 series (MX500, MX510, MX518, G400, and G400s), which is honestly great. Many people seek out this shape, which is really unique, and the series has been discontinued by Logitech a few years ago. The MX518 is probably one of the most iconic gaming mice of the 2000s; a huge number of people used it or still use it to this day, and they struggle to find a replacement.

There are some major differences between the REVEL Fit and Logitech MX500 series, but as for the form factor itself, they are vastly similar. So similar, in fact, that the main difference I could find was that the ring finger/pinky ledge is a bit less harsh on the REVEL Fit. Also, the buttons on the Fit flare out wider, right to the edge of the shell. You can take a look at these yourself in the comparisons section below. The mouse is very bulky, and it's obviously designed for palm-gripping—depending on personal preferences, it can of course be used in other ways as well. There's a big groove on the left side for your thumb, and the right side has a bit of one, but it's way shallower, of course. The main buttons don't feature any grooves.

Let's move on to the measurements: the Nixeus REVEL Fit is around 130 mm (5.12") long, which is quite long for a mouse. The total width is 69 mm (2.72"), but the actual width at which it can be gripped is way narrower at approximately only 58 mm (2.28"). It is about 42 mm (1.65") at the tallest point, and the hump is pretty much centered. The mouse has a great shape that will suit palm grippers with even large hands. Depending on personal preferences and grip type, I would say this mouse is good for 17–21 cm long hands.
