The NZXT Sentry LX may not be cheap. At almost 60 € or 70 US Dollars, it costs as much as some computer cases out there. This means you can expect a lot from the unit as there are plenty of other, similar devices out there, at cheaper price points. The build quality of the Sentry LX is unrivaled by any other such unit. The thick aluminum front should look great in any case, but especially those all aluminum ones out there. The large display shows you the temperatures of all five diodes and fans at a glance. Many other monitoring panels force you to scroll through each fan & diode pair instead of displaying it all at once. The option to let the Sentry LX manage the fans according to temperature or to manually adjust every single cooling unit yourself, translates into total control of your case thermals. The addition of the date and time display is certainly a great addition and should come in handy during those longer gaming sessions or at a dark LAN party. Overall, the Sentry LX offers great build quality, a nice set of features and great functionality - at a high but justified price.
