  • The OCZ Eclipse retails for around 24.99 €.
  • Extremely low lift-off distance
  • High DPI
  • Smooth tracking on a large variety of surfaces
  • Good ergonomics
  • Lots of buttons
  • 3G Laser sensor
  • Price
  • Low sensitivity gamers can get better results with other mice in the same price category
  • Sensor not that good for low sensitivity gaming
This mouse does a good job considering its price of only 24.99 € which is to be considered low for a mouse featuring a 3G laser sensor which allows you to use all sorts of surfaces to run it on. The low lift off distance is really neat as well and is a feature that it implements way better than mice based on infrared sensors like the Razer Salmosa or Razer DeathAdder.

For most medium and high sensitivity gamers this mouse will be great if you like its shape. In comparison to old Razer mice, like the Diamondback or Copperhead, the shape of the Eclipse is better in terms of ergonomics - for people with normal sized hands. If you have a very small hand Razer's mice might be the better choice for you.

Value and Conclusion

  • The OCZ Behemoth retails for 26.99 €.
  • Extremely low lift-off distance
  • Good ergonomics for some
  • Lots of buttons
  • 3G laser sensor
  • Price
  • Forced ergonomics
  • Low sensitivity gamers can get better results with other mice in the same price category
  • Sensor not that good for low sensitivity gaming
The Behemoth is like the Eclipse a fine mouse considering its price. However it does have some flaws that make it less attractive than the Eclipse. If your hand fits the Behemoth, it can be just as good as the Eclipse, but if it does not, you are going to get annoyed pretty fast.

The sensor performs nicely and the low lift off distance is really neat and makes the mouse more comfortable to game with. This is because you do not have to lift it a lot to get the sensor to stop tracking. The glide and general precision of the Behemoth's 3G laser sensor is really good, the perfect choice for high sensitivity gamers.
