The Odin Gaming ZeroGravity XL checks a lot of boxes. It comes with stitched edges, an excellent non-slip rubber base, above average thickness (4 mm), and very decent build quality, aside from minor imperfections. That is true of many other cloth pads as well though, so what sets the ZeroGravity XL apart? Two main things do. First, Odin Gaming offers a great variety of sizes. Even the smallest size, such as the XL tested here, is quite a bit larger than the pads of most competitors, and the biggest sizes are large enough to cover pretty much any desk size. Yet pricing is very competitive even for the larger and less common sizes. Additionally, there are several color combinations (surface/stitched edges), which isn't common, either. Second, there is the surface itself. Mousing surfaces are mostly a matter of preference—some prefer very fast surfaces, others want a slower, more control-oriented glide. The ZeroGravity XL manages to achieve a good middle ground in this regard and should thus be suitable for a lot of people. I did not detect any tracking issues during testing, so that part is covered as well. I also liked that there was barely any chemical smell right out of the box.

While the ZeroGravity XL isn't flawless, the issues are rather minor. Aside from the small build quality imperfections mentioned above, the packaging isn't entirely optimal, and although the pad is already mostly flat out of the box, fully flattening it can take a while. Still, the ZeroGravity XL is a very solid pad all around, especially for those on a budget and in need of a larger size, which is why the ZeroGravity XL gets the Recommended and Budget awards from me.
