A Closer Look
The cooler looks to be a fairly simply construction which is reasonable for a card in this performance class. Thanks to the low heat output of the GPU, there is no need for a copper baseplate or fancy heatpipes.
The card does not have any additional PCIe power connectors, all power is delivered via the PCI-Express slot. This configuration is good for up to 75 W of power draw.
The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Hynix, and carry the model number H5GQ2H24MFR-T2C. They are specified to run at 1250MHz (5000 MHz GDDR5 effective).
As voltage controller a uP1610 is used. I have never seen that model before, nor could I find any info on it.
AMD's Turks graphics processor is made on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan. It uses approximately 716 million transistors on a die area of 118 mm².
