Exterior
The NAS is large since it not only houses room for four drives but an internal PSU with a capacity of 250 W.
There is a USB 3.0 port at the front of the NAS, along with the power switch, a copy button, and several LED indicators.
Perforations in the shape of QNAP's logo have been put on one side.
Most I/O ports are at the rear. There are USB 3.0 and audio ports, but no HDMI ports. This NAS can be upgraded with graphics card that have HDMI ports, however.
At the bottom are two stickers; one for the MAC addresses of both Ethernet ports and the other with the model number and power specifications.
The trays are made out of plastic and don't feature locks or any sound dampening material.
We removed all trays to present you with a picture of the drive-bay area.
