Considering that this is a gaming keyboard the choice of key mechanism is a bit odd. For FPS gamers the downside is marginal, but for avid RTS gamers it might be a bit too annoying. The QPAD MK-80 keyboard is feature packed compared to the recently reviewed gaming keyboards on this site. Most of the additions are very welcome and the back lighting system works well except for the lock indicators.
The key caps themselves are unique to the QPAD MK-80 due to the rubber coating employed. This makes the buttons feel softer than usual. Ergonomics wise the QPAD MK-80 keyboard is ahead of the pack, it has height adjustment and comes with a well-made albeit not great looking wrist wrest. Other noteworthy mentions are the four spare orange keys and the key cap remover.
