Introduction

Razer Logo

Founded in 1998, Razer is a US-based peripherals and gaming-equipment company. With the V2 X Hyperspeed, the DeathAdder receives what could be dubbed the Orochi treatment. Much like the Orochi V2, the DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed is capable of either 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth operation, lasting up to 235 hours or 615 hours on a single AA-battery, respectively. Instead of an AA-battery, an AAA-battery may be used, resulting in accordingly lower battery life. As a result of the top cover being removable, the CPI buttons are no longer placed below the scroll wheel, but next to the left main button instead. Speaking of which, second-generation Razer mechanical switches, which essentially are Kailh GM 4.0 (60 m), are used for the main buttons. The DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed furthermore features PixArt's PAW3319 sensor capable of 14,000 CPI, comes with pure PTFE feet, and does without RGB in the interest of battery life. The usual customization options are provided through Razer Synapse.
