Comparison
Heading into the land of comparisons, you can clearly see the vast difference between the tested mouse pads. Here, you can really see how much denser the weaving of the Speed version is compared to the Control variant. As for other pads, the Speed is similar to the QcK Limited, but the latter is a bit smoother and silkier to the touch. The standard QcK and the DM Pad are both way rougher to the touch. The surface of the Control is unlike any of the other tested pads—there are no similarities between between these pads. It feels different, but doesn't feel bad at all, though I think this mouse pad will provide the best glide with large mouse feet.

Build Quality
As for build quality, both mouse pads are fantastic. I found no errors. Everything is in place; even the stitched edges didn't have any parts that stick out. Both mouse pads are smooth and even, without any bumpy spots or uneven areas. Kudos to Razer for such thorough quality control here (wish they were this thorough with some other products, like the DeathAdder Essential).
