A Closer Look - Outside

The Rosewill Gram makes heavy use of straight lines at angles to ensure a somewhat edgy look. As you can see by the plastic covers, some areas of the chassis are smooth and could thus be more prone to scratches.

The front is made of plastic and is essentially completely solid. A few air vent have been incorporated into the design to allow for fresh air to be pulled into the chassis. In the rear, everything is where it would normally be, with the PSU bay in the very bottom of the chassis.

The Gram can only be purchased with a large windowed side panel. There is no option with a solid panel instead. However, most target users will find the window more useful and interesting anyways. The window is quite large and will allow you to show off all the relevant parts within the PC. Unfortunately, the way it is mounted to the side panel inside is not completely hidden, which distracts slightly from the experience. The opposite panel is completely solid, lacking air vents or cut outs.

Taking a closer look at the front, the Rosewill Gaming logo can be found on the bottom of the panel, while the top half holds the 5.25" drive bay, two USB 3.0 ports, and the usual audio I/O and buttons.

In the rear, at the very bottom, is the pretty standard PSU bay with a single set of mounting holes to make sure you always install the power supply the right way. Above that are the seven expansion slots, each protected by its own reusable cover. These covers are held in place by a bent piece of metal which is in turn secured with two normal screws. In the very top is a 120 mm fan to aid with cooling the system's CPU area.

Rosewill punched holes into the top of the chassis so that you may install two 120 mm or 140 mm fans or a similarly sized radiators here. A simple metal-mesh dust filter has also been applied to at least keep the biggest dirt particles out. On the underside of the chassis is another opening covered by a similar metal-mesh dust filter for the PSU's fan. There is also a set of holes to allow for a 3.5" hard drive to be mounted to the floor of the Rosewill Gram.
