Build Quality & Comfort
I'm very surprised by the build quality of the Rosewill Nebula GX30. As the price is the first thing I check when I start to work on a headset, I always adjust my expectations accordingly. That's exactly why the Nebula GX30 managed to positively shock me. It's a $37 headset with a metal rim, metal mesh covering on the ear cups, a sturdy, stitched headband, pair of soft (and replaceable!) ear cushions, and a braided cable - not just the one that exits the headset and leads to your device of choice, but also the wires that connect the ear pieces.
There's no creaking of any of the plastic parts, the cable makes no noise, and the clamping force is adjusted well. Thanks to that and the softness of the memory foam-filled ear cushions, the Nebula GX30 feels comfortable. Even though it doesn't feel as refined as more expensive headsets, I felt no discomfort when using it for over four hours without a break.
