Packaging

The retail box of the combo SKU is huge and does not really fit on our test bench for case reviews. The front holds an image of the case as well as the unique PSU, while the sides offer an inside look of the Q704 with the PSU installed and information on the specifications.


In the very top, you will find the PSU in a retail box, safely stored inside a foam frame. Below that is the actual chassis in its separate retail box.


With the two apart, the Seasonic Q704 box is actually much more what you should expect to see. It comes with carrying holes and several images to let you know what to expect inside the package. The rear lists some marketing bulletin points in multiple languages, while the sides once again detail the specifications and have a blow-up diagram of the case itself.


Seasonic further protects the case with cardboard reinforced foam spacers and a black cloth bag. With all these layers of protection, your case should certainly arrive in pristine condition.

Inside the case package is another slim box which holds the enclosure's accessories.


These consist of a small plastic container you may use to hold your screws and other bits alongside several Velcro strips for easy cable management. Seasonic has also included a microfibre cloth and white gloves for you to handle your chassis. A well-written manual rounds off the accessories.


Looking at the PSU, it is the full retail variant in all its glory and mentions all the interesting facts alongside a bit of marketing imagery about the unique power distribution system.
