Sennheiser GSP 301 Review

Build Quality & Comfort

Even though the entire frame of the Sennheiser GSP 301 is made out of plastic, it's impossible to complain about the build quality as the headset feels robust and survived a couple of nasty falls from my table without a single scratch. It's very flexible as well, which is why you won't feel the need to be particularly careful when you put it on or take it off. Even though you have every right to expect more luxurious materials when paying $100 for a gaming headset, there's the fact that the Sennheiser GSP 301 utilizes plastic in the best possible way.

The ear cushions are filled with an extremely soft memory foam and are covered in pleather. Their clamping force is adjusted in a way that makes sure they never press against the head more than they should. Add to that the well-padded inner side of the headband and what you get is an extremely comfortable gaming headset. Some of my gaming sessions with the Sennheiser GSP 301 lasted for over five hours, and I never felt any discomfort at all. Sennheiser's expertise in making superbly comfortable headphones was quite obviously utilized to the fullest here.
