Value and Conclusion
- The Sharkoon 1337 Gaming Mat costs just around 7€, which is much cheaper than most gaming pads out there. You get much more than you pay for.
- Good compromise in size
- Very light and thin
- Does not move around
- Well balanced between smoothness and friction
- Works with laser & optical mice as well as ball variants
- Choice of 3 motives
- Cheap!
- Not water resistant at all
- May not be big enough for sensitive gamers
- The edges floss a tad bit
Considering the price/performance ratio of the Sharkoon 1337 Gaming Mat, you cannot really go wrong here at all. It may not be big enough for all the gamers who have very sensitive settings. The motive may not be for everyone, but Sharkoon also offers a clean black version of the pad. Considering that anything but water will definitely leave stains on the pad, it may be the best choice going for the black plain variant. Overall, considering the cheap price, it performs just as good as more expensive offerings.
