The SilentiumPC Armis AR7 may not look like much at first sight, but rest assured that it does manage to impress across the board. From the solid construction quality to the well-thought-out feature set or price—everything lines up extremely well. On the outside, understated looks make the case appealing to a large user base outside of some enthusiasts who are all about in-your-face lighting effects. While the plastic front may not look like much, SilentiumPC has wisely chosen to give it a brushed look, which really helps elevate that choice of material as well.

Every feature of the Armis AR7 is not only well thought out, but also uncompromisingly functional. From the numerous diverse HDD placement possibilities to the well-placed openings for beautiful cable management, the inside layout of the enclosure has no functional drawbacks. It be extremely nit-picky to say that the short 5.25" drive bay may not hold ODDs, or traditional long drives, but in times where most brands omit this type of expandability completely, it is great to still see it as an option.

From a functional perspective, the AR7 offers a built-in fan controller, functional RGB controller, and the ability to install potent liquid or air cooling without issue, as well as long GPUs and PSUs.. Couple all this with an easy assembly process and solid material mix and you have yourself quite the winning chassis.
