PP06 Cables Kit

Along with the ST60F-PS, Silverstone was kind enough to send us several PP06 cable kits. They consist of highly sought after, individually sleeved cables modders would like. The following tables provide pricing information and describe all PP06 cables.

PP06 Modular Cables
PP06B-MB55 ATX connector (550mm)20+4 pin
PP06B-EPS75 4+4 pin EPS12V (750mm)1
PP06B-2PCIE70 6+2 pin PCIe (550mm+150mm)2
PP06B-4SATA10 SATA (550mm+150mm+150mm+150mm)4
PP06B-3SATA80M SATA (300mm+150mm / Slimline SATA (+200mm)3 / 1
PP06B-3PER10F 4 pin Molex (550mm+150mm+150mm) / FDD (+150mm)3 / 1

The length of all PP06 cables is adequate and will suffice in most cases. However, a longer cable for the 24 pin ATX connector would be very welcome, since its length of 55 cm might cause problems with cable management in some extreme cases. The distance amongst all connectors is adequate, and there is also a cable that includes both the normal SATA connectors and a slimline one.

PP06 Modular Cables
PP06B-MB55$12.99
PP06B-EPS75$8.49
PP06B-2PCIE70$9.99
PP06B-4SATA10$9.99
PP06B-3SATA80M$9.99
PP06B-3PER10F$8.99

Their prices look quite stiff and a complete set including six PCIe connectors, one EPS, and eight to twelve SATA connectors will cost you around 100 bucks, but the price for an individually sleeved cable kit by another vendor is about the same. The good thing is that Silverstone decided to sell cable kits containing only cables you pick, so you can buy only what you need, which saves on money. Cable kits by others are sold as complete sets.

Their quality is very high indeed and the sleeving job is really good! Although we don't fancy indy-sleeved cables much, since we think that they actually make cable management tasks harder, we can't but admit that these specific ones look really slick!
